The Tharus usually live in a mud house and some of their special delicacies include Bagiya (steamed rice dumplings), Sidra (a pickle made of sun-dried fish and spices) and freshly grilled fish. Continue the journey to Sarangkot, a hilltop vantage point renowned for its breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, as well as the Pokhara Valley and Phewa Lake below. The Sarangkot Mountain Lodge offers some beautiful views from its rooms, so soak in the view and enjoy your time there.
